SprintRacer Men's 2-in-1 Short - Reflective

Really like these shorts. The liner is maybe more comfortable than the half tights.
The rear gel pockets are a great addition and what drew me in to buying a pair. You can get two gels on a pocket if you need to.
The leg pocket is too small for a phone which is a shame but great for gel stashes.
If they had pockets on both legs then they’d be perfect.
I have the half tights and another pair of burnt studio 2-in-1 shorts and they’re all great.

First impressions were excellent — these shorts look and feel premium, and the fabric and finish initially seem to justify the price.

However, once I actually ran in them (a relatively short 10km), issues became obvious. The internal seams on the inner liner are positioned in a way that causes significant chafing. This is surprising, given that the outer layer is clearly designed to provide coverage — it raises the question of why the seam placement wasn’t better considered for comfort.

After that first run, I had to deal with noticeable chafing. I ended up modifying the shorts myself by unpicking and relocating one of the seams, which improved things enough for a 50km run. That said, there’s still friction from another lateral seam that I’ll likely need to adjust as well.

Overall, these are well-made, good-looking shorts, but the seam design is a major flaw — especially at this price point. I wouldn’t expect to need modifications or additional underwear just to make them comfortable for longer runs.

It’s no coincidence that I did my first long run in years wearing these shorts. Comfortable from Start to Finish, with pockets for a phone, key, and nutrition. It even attracted attention (and compliments) for its design style.

These are great shorts to run with, especially if you run with a phone, where the phone is kept tight against your leg thanks to the inner pocket. I used to run with standard shorts and the phone would flop around in my pocket while running, and having it strapped down is very appreciated.

They fit great and the grippy dots on the inside leg part helps keep the shorts in place while running.

The shorts fits just right and the quality of material is out of this world , I’m very happy with my purchase and it won’t be my last.

I’ve been really impressed with the SprintRacer Men 2 black shorts from Burnt. They’re lightweight, comfortable, and fit exactly as expected. These are one of the best running shorts I’ve used in 7years of road running.

The pocket is big enough for my phone and keeps it secure. It doesn’t bounce around while running.

The fit is true to size. I would highly recommend it.

Work perfectly in tough climates.

Super comfortable, true to size and the grip on the inner tights are great for keeping them in place

Again big fan of these race shorts! Although still a little unsure on the 2 in 1 version as the inner boxers are quite thick for me. Prefer the race shorts without.

I wore the shorts when I ran Frankfurt marathon on 26/10. They are extremely comfortable and have enough space to hold gels and Mt cellphone as well.

Will definitely get them in another colour :)
