Substandard material/construction choices

The end of the fabric at the bottom of the shirt that is normally stitched down is instead held in place by this adhesive tape that started coming loose from the 3rd wash. Fortunately the exposed tape isn't visible when wearing, but I would've expected better quality from burnt
